Jill began her career as a professional fundraiser many years ago and her YMCA career in the spring of 2007. Jill is veteran Development professional well versed in all aspects of charitable giving, donor relations and stewardship. She refers to her work as a “calling”, and says the best part of philanthropy is seeing the joy of giving in the donor’s eyes after they realize the impact their giving has made. Jill has been married for over twenty years to her beloved husband Bill and they have a beautiful 15 year old daughter, Ivy. Jill loves spending time with family and friends, entertaining, reading and walking.

2004 and joined the financial development team in 2007. Before
that, she received her B.S. from Colorado State University and spent
two years in the Americorps before becoming director of a youth
mentoring program. She and her husband Kelly have a 5-year-old son
Peyton and a 4 year-old daughter Bree who take up the majority of
her time. In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking in the
beautiful Colorado outdoors.

Alison Ostman, Alumni Association Coordinator Alison began her career with YMCA of the Rockies in 2007. She worked various positions over the last three years before accepting her new role of Alumni Coordinator. Previous to living in Colorado, Alison attended the University of Minnesota – Duluth where she graduated with a B.S. in Communication. Alison’s free time is currently taken up with planning her wedding, buying a house and trying to find time to spend outdoors with her fiancé, their puppies, and their friends.
Membership
Jennifer Leivestad, Accounting/Membership
Coordinator
Jennifer began her YMCA career while still in college, working as a lifeguard for the James River YMCA in North Dakota. After graduating from college with BAs in Business Administration/Accounting and History, Jennifer made her way to Colorado as a summer seasonal for the Accounting department. After falling in love with Colorado and meeting her husband, Jennifer became the Accounting/Member Coordinator in the spring of 2003. Jennifer’s 2 little girls keep her very busy, but she also enjoys camping and ATVing with family and taking advantage of the swimming facilities YMCA of the Rockies has to offer.
Lula W. Dorsey Museum
Bryon Hoerner, Museum Director
Bryon is new to the museum, but not to the YMCA. His first summer at the Y was in 2005 as a wrangler for Jackson Stables. After which he returned home to finish school and receive his B.A. in History from Kansas Wesleyan University. Since the fall of 2007 he has been back in Estes Park working various jobs both on and off camp. Bryon is grateful for (and humbled by) the legacy of the museum that he is taking over and excited for the future possibilities. In his spare time Bryon loves to be outdoors and is looking forward to getting married in a few short weeks.
